Padaria da Pesada (Heavy Bakery) - Original Story Cover Art and extras

Cover art for a YA novel, Brazilian and original version of "Heavy Bakery".
Sinopse: "In the underground of the streets of Recife (Pernambuco, Brasil), with illegal fight clubs and gangs at war, Felipe Torres tries to get rid of his complicated past, restart with a more peaceful life, when he meets Kassia, a workaholic businesswoman who needs help dealing with frequent robberies in her bakery. Meanwhile, others who know about Torres' past want to recruit him at all costs."

I wanted to make something with a limited color palette, with hues of blue, purple, pink, and oranges.
The artwork shows the double situation of Felipe both in the Bakery where he works and the illegal fight club that he is inserted, and also showing some characters like Kassia, Ranieri, Mrs. Cazé and Rico Garcia, the latter being one of the main antagonists of the novel.

This is intended to be the first book of a series.

Cover with all the elements. Felipe in the middle with half clothing represents this double life he gets as an illegal fighter and as a bakery assistant.

Color Logo.
This is the actual bakery's name. Both fonts are custom-made solely for this project, and it's purposely wonky to fit the idea of comedy.

The Cast of the Novel is fairly diverse, like we see in the streets of the cities of Brasil.
Since this is meant to be a series, there will be other covers where we'll see more of them.
